General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of TripEscape
As of May 2025
1. Scope and Definitions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers from TripEscape as well as all existing and future regional brands (e.g., “SauerlandEscape”). By making a booking, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding. Any changes will be published on the website and will supersede the version that was in effect at the time of booking.
2. Subject Matter of the Contract
TripEscape recreational activities in the area of escape games—both outdoors and in rented vacation apartments. The booking covers only the event specified in the booking confirmation.
3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract
Bookings are made through our website or by email. The contract is concluded upon receipt of the booking confirmation.
Daily capacity is limited. For booking requests sent via email, there is no guarantee that the desired date will remain available—other customers may book it while your request is being processed. If you want to be sure, you should book directly through the website.
Corporate customers who wish to pay by invoice should contact us in advance at hilfe@tripescape.de. Payment must be received in full before the event begins.
4. Weather, Safety, and Game Cancellation
In the event of hazardous weather conditions such as thunderstorms, storms, or strong winds, it is prohibited to remain outdoors. The game must then be stopped immediately. The safety of all participants is our top priority. Of course, an alternative date can be arranged free of charge.
Before the game begins, the customer decides for themselves whether the weather conditions are suitable. A game can be voluntarily rescheduled at any time. Refunds are not available, even in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
5. Dogs
Dogs are welcome to join in all outdoor activities.
Dogs weighing up to 25 kg are allowed in the vacation rentals.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations with a refund are not permitted.
You may reschedule an appointment at any time free of charge. To do so, please send us an email at hilfe@tripescape.de with your booking number and your desired new date.
Note: The granting of goodwill gestures is at the sole discretion of TripEscape.
7. Change in the Number of Participants
The number of participants can be adjusted at any time before the event. To do so, please send us an email at hilfe@tripescape.de, specifying the booking number and the new number of participants.
Overpayments will be refunded in full;
any additional charges must be settled accordingly.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices vary depending on the specific booking and are displayed in the booking system. Payment methods are subject to the options listed on the website. Refunds are issued exclusively via the original payment method used.
9. Gift Certificates
Vouchers are valid for all current offers from TripEscape.
Please note: The scope of vouchers may change in the future, for example, to apply only to certain regions or event types (e.g., outdoor escape games).
The voucher value cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. Vacation Rental Escape
